From the looks of the votes on (1) securing funding for additional government programs by giving sex surveys to children, and (2) requiring that parents adhere to a government-mandated schedule of wellness visits for their children, it is apparent that all three parties are suffering from a severe lack of leadership when it comes to recognizing & protecting the individual & unalienable rights of citizens.
Both HB 402 and HB 1144 have been passed by the majority Republican House of Representatives in Louisiana. Both bills seek to infringe upon the individual rights of the citizens of this state. Where does each Representative stand?
HB 402 (P. SMITH-D) SEX SURVEYS OF CHILDREN - seeks to make it legal to ask children personal questions about certain risky behaviors which is currently illegal under the law.
